Ruins of the Church of San Sebastiano - Raccuja

The origins of the Church of San Sebastiano, built in the district above the Mother Church of Santa Maria di Gesù, date back to the 16th century. The statue of San Sebastiano was designed for it, made by the Renaissance sculptor of origin Rinaldo Bonanno, now preserved inside the Mother Church of Raccuja. The building collapsed in an uncertain era and today ruins have been recently restored and integrated. The volumetric structure is perfectly legible in its partition into three naves and a large presbytery area.
