They are fleshy mushrooms, large in size, particularly loved for their low calorie content and their medical properties: they have an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and cholesterol-lowering effect, as well as being a strong ally of our immune system. In cooking they are pretty versatile: they can be used as a side dish, as a second course or as a condiment for first courses.
