Stretta di Longi

Site of considerable naturalistic, geological and historical-anthropological interest, the Stretta di Longi, in the heart of the Nebrodi Mountains, is a deep rocky gorge crossed by the Milé torrent, a tributary of the Fitalia River. Known for its natural beauty, rocks sculpted by water, unspoiled landscapes, it is also important for the historical-anthropological evidence it contains, traces left by the ancient populations of the Nebrodi: water mills along the waterway, the old mule track and even an old woolen wool beater tells of a past in which these areas were the center of daily activities. A wonder of nature and history to be discovered, the Stretta di Longi is today frequented by trekking enthusiasts, including rivers, nature lovers and exclusionists who leave to discover places and to live passionate and authentic experiences.
