Crypt of San Cono

The crypt of San Cono inside the temple dedicated to Santa Navacita, was built on another Latin cross church, of which it occupies one side and, protected by three iron curtains and seven keys, houses inside the relics of the saint silver urns.

The Crypt is an invaluable work of art, rich in precious marbles and paintings depicting the wonders of San Cono Abate, such as the blessing for the city of Naso, the moment when he pulled the worm from the ear of the son of the governor of Naso, San Cono in ecstasy at the time of his death and many other artistic beauties present in this place of extreme charm.
