Teatro Alfieri

The municipal theater Vittorio Alfieri, with neo-classical architectural lines, is located at the main entrance of the city, built in a part of the area that housed the ancient castle. The interior is characterized by an Italian elliptical layout, divided into four tiers of boxes. After the authorization to transform it into a cinema, it underwent numerous renovations which, since 1947, led to the loss of the original system. Recently restored and reopened to the public, the Alfieri theater now hosts important cultural events, such as the highly appreciated theatrical review.
