Church of San Michele Arcangelo - Patti

Perhaps founded out of devotion to the sailors, the Church of San Michele, in the heart of the historic center of Patti, dates back to the early 1500s. A fire destroyed it in 1911 and was completely rebuilt. Inside, you can admire a fine marble ciborium by Antonio Gagini from 1538. Next to the church there is the only door left, of the five that were part of the ancient city walls.
