Medieval alleys - San Marco d'Alunzio

Walking through the streets of the historic center of San Marco d’Alunzio, it almost seems like taking a trip back in time: the enchanting medieval alleys bring the visitor back to the past, to the time of ladies and knights, kings and queens. A suggestion that revives every year, in the first days of June, on the occasion of the traditional medieval procession in which the most fascinating delegations of the historical parades of Sicily parade through alleys and open spaces, transforming the historic center into a real open-air theater with shows, markets, musicians, flag wavers, jugglers, fire eaters, snake charmers, belly dancers, falconers and more.
