Convent of the Capuchin Friars - Alcara li Fusi

The Convent of the Capuchin Friars, built in 1574 around the existing Church of Sant'Elia, was destroyed due to a fire in 1956. Fortunately, the Church and the large number of books and codices that were kept at the interior of his library. Today these books are kept between the Church of San Pantaleone and the Museum of Sacred Art. In place of the Convent stands the Villa Comunale with a playground for children.
